This is the effect used on so many cheep security mirrors in small stores.  You know the ones you see in chemists and newsagents.

I had not seen it taken to a full surface treatment before.  In these images, It creates an interesting understanding of space-halfway between reflection and obscurity.  

The images give a surreal, unworldly quality.  It would be interesting to see if the real-world experience is similar, or if it is too disorientating/distracting.  I suspect if may result in an experience where you are unable to focus on any one space and are constantly strugeling to find a plane to focus on.
